6.9 Configure the Modbus communication settings

For remote communications with the instrument, connect the network to the RS485 communications
module, then configure the instrument for the Modbus communications protocol.
1. Push Menu > Settings > IO/Modbus.
2. Select the Modbus screen.
3. Push the Device ID field. The keypad opens.
4. Enter the Modbus address and push OK.
5. Select the Baudrate for Modbus communications.

6.10 Start an analyzer task manually

The user can start an instrument task manually (e.g., measure off-line, calibration and clean). Make a
list of tasks for the instrument to operate in sequence. Select the Help icon to get more information.
1. Push Menu > Service > Maintenance.
2. Select the Manual Schedule screen.
3. Select the operation from the drop-down list below "Action".

4. Select the concentration range from the drop-down list below Range.
5. Push ADD. The operation shows in the action list.
Note: To delete all of the actions in the list, push CLEAR.
6. Push RUN, then YES to start the actions in the list. The instrument starts the next action in the list
after the status of the current action shows "Done".

6.11 Calibrate the touch screen

The touch screen is calibrated at the factory. If the touch screen response is unsatisfactory, calibrate
the touch screen.
1. Push Menu > Service > Advanced.
2. Select the Touch calibration screen. The calibration instructions show.
3. Read the instructions and push START CALIBRATE.
4. Follow the instructions on the screen to calibrate the touch screen.
5. Stop and start the analyzer to use the new calibration.
