IPMI Configuration

The IPMI Configuration screen is a subsection of the Advanced group. This page allows
you to perform IPMI configurations on your MegaRAC G2 card.
The MegaRAC G2 can use IPMI to communicate with a BMC or any other IPMI
compliant devices connected to the I2C bus. If there is a BMC present, you can configure
the MegaRAC G2 card to use IPMI to power on and off the host system. You can also
use the BMC's Sensor Data Records (SDR) for health monitoring. This precludes the
need to create or upload an SDK.
