About the DTP2 T 201 D Extenders
The Extron DTP2 T 201 D is a one-gang decorator-style transmitter for sending HDMI signals up to 330 feet
(100 meters) over a shielded CATx cable to an Extron DTP-enabled product. It supports video resolutions up to
4K/60 at 4:4:4 chroma sampling and complies with HDCP 2.3. The one-gang wall-mountable design of the
DTP2 T 201 D offers the convenience of placing input connections precisely where they are needed.

A Typical DTP2 T 201 D Point-to-Point Application
The HDCP 2.3-compliant DTP2 T 201 D enables the reliable transmission of HDMI signals, supporting Consumer
Electronics Control (CEC) pass-through, and embedded HD lossless audio formats. In addition, Display Data
Channel (DDC) communication of EDID is negotiated from source to sink, with the transmitter and receiver
transparent during the exchange. The transmitter input always reports to the source as an HDCP-authorized
device, so signals from devices such as Apple products are always encrypted. This cannot be disabled.
