Owner’s Manual & Installation Guide Thank you for purchasing an MTI bath product. You have chosen the best-built tub in America. We know that it will give you many years of pleasure. The instructions in this booklet will provide you with the information you need to install and operate this unit.
Whirlpool and Airbaths Important Safety Information This manual contains information and instructions for proper handling, operation and maintenance of your MTI bathtub. Failure to follow these instructions could result in personal injury, electrical shock or fire. MTI does not warrant leaks associated with improper drain or valve installation. Inspect Product Thoroughly • Damage from shipping or delivery must be reported to carrier immediately. DO NOT install damaged tub. MTI is not responsible for damage occurring during transit.
• Access must be provided to each electrical component. The access panels for most hydrotherapy tub systems must have a minimum size of 16" x 14" for future servicing. Microbubbles requires minimum access size of 20" x 16". MTI will not authorize service unless clear access is available.

• Fill tub and test for proper operation and leaks. NOTE: Electrical components must be plugged into a 110V GFCI protected outlet. NOTE: MTI air systems are equipped with water sensors near the drain. When water is introduced to the bath and drained, either by showering, bathing or cleaning, the sensors activate the purge/drying cycle.

Whirlpool pumps may be removed temporarily for ease of installation, but must be reconnected in factory-installed location.

Undermount / Framed Box Installation MTI does not make recommendations as to the size and shape of the opening for undermount installation. Do NOT use any templates supplied by MTI for undermounting. Template actual tub bowl dimensions very carefully before building or cutting any deck materials.

Some System 2 Ultra Whirlpools with 6 or fewer micro jets have an ON/OFF push button dedicated to a micro jet pump. ADJUSTMENT: A single diverter knob is dedicated to each set of micro jets. • To delay the automatic purge for another 7 minutes, once it begins, press . Press again to completely cancel the automatic purge. MTI does not recommend canceling the purge regularly, as the drying cycle is designed to help maintain optimal performance of the airbath.

Q: Is it safe to use bath salts or bath oils in my whirlpool? A: Water soluble products such as bath salts are fine to use, however, MTI does not recommend the use of heavy bath oils. Products con- taining natural or chemical dyes may discolor the jet controls and/or tub surface. Check the label to ensure products are safe for acrylic or plastics, and always use according to the product recommendations.
Lifetime Bath Warranty Shell: MTI Baths (MTI) warrants the tub shell against defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product to the original purchaser. Variations in resin/fiberglass thickness on the underside of the bath are not considered defects and do not affect the performance, integrity or quality of the product.

The bath and systems must be properly water tested to inspect for level, leaks and proper operation prior to final enclosure of the unit. Failure to do so will void the warranty. If a problem is discovered after the final enclosure, MTI will not be responsible for the cost of removal or reinstallation of the tub or for costs associated with any adjacent materials.
Two-Year Bath Warranty Shell: MTI warrants the tub shell against defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of purchase.
