Using Explicit Messaging with a PLC Scanner

PKW data is normally not used – since drive commissioning is performed by SIMOVIS or other means. If PKW data
is not used, this section can be skipped.
The following information should help in using the PKW object to read and change drive parameters.
The explicit message program control feature is used. The Get Attribute Single and Set Attribute Single services are
used.
The vendor specific PKW object is used. It is class 100 (64 hex). Only Instance 1 is used. Only attribute 1 is used.
The drive parameter number, parameter number index, and parameter value (if required) is included in the data
field.
