Front Fan Replacement
1.
Remove the power cable and fan
guard
from
the
intake
side
of the removed fan and fit them to the replacement
fan.
CAUTION - Fan Power
The polarized, de power connector to the cooling
fan
must
be
installed
with
the curve of the
connector matching the curve of the fan housing,
for correct fan rotation (Figure 4·23).
2.
Place the four fan mounting screws in the chassis holes.
3.
Place the guard "over the screws, with the circular wires
of the guard against the chassis (Figure 4-29).

5.
Fasten the screws to the fan.
The fan
must
be
placed
such that airflow is away from the power supply.
6.
Reconnect the fan power cable to JlO.
