Function description
Input 31/Y1
} When the signal at the input 31/Y1 changes from low to high (control command of the
magnetic guard locking) and the actuator is detected (safety gate closed) this is pro-
cessed as an activation request of the guard locking.
}
The safety outputs 12 and 22 switch independently of the guard locking.
}
If there is a low signal at the input 31/Y1, the guard locking is deactivated.
}
If you are using the SDD the input 31/Y1 cannot be used for the activation request of the
guard locking. The input 31/Y1 is only used as an input for SDD.
}
The guard locking is activated again when the signal switches from high to low and then
again to high at the input 31/Y1.
Magnetic guard locking device and magnet monitoring
}
The locking magnet is switched on if
– a high signal is present at the input 31/Y1 and
– the actuator is detected (safety gate closed) and
– when no SDD is used.
}
The holding force of the locking magnet is tested on power-up.
} After a signal change at the input 31/Y1 to low, wait for at least 500 ms, before supplying
