5-10 Onboard Indicators

LAN Port LEDs
The Ethernet ports have two LEDs.
One LED indicates activity when
blinking while the other LED may be
green, amber or off to indicate the
speed of the connection. See the
table on the right for the functions
codes
associated with the connection speed
s.>
LED.
IPMI Dedicated LAN LEDs
A dedicated IPMI LAN port is located
on the rear I/O panel. The amber LED
on the right indicates activity, while the
LED on the left indicates the speed of
the connection. See the tables at right
for more information.
HDD Heartbeat LED
An HDD heartbeat LED is located next
to the JF1 header. When this green
LED is blinking, HDD devices are
functioning normally. See the table at
right for more information.
Onboard Power LED
An Onboard Power LED is located at
LED2 on the serverboard. When this
LED is on, the system is on. Be sure
to turn off the system and unplug the
power cord before removing or install-
ing components. See the tables at right
for more information.
