Installing and Removing the Chassis From a Rack
Installation into a Rack
1. Slide the inner rail extensions into the front of the outer rails.
2. Push the chassis backward into the rack until it clicks into the locked postion.
Removing the Chassis From a Rack
1.
Press the outer rail latch to release the chassis.
2. Carefully slide the chassis forward, off the outer rails and out of the chassis.
Note: The figure above is for illustrative purposes only. Always install servers at
the bottom of the rack first.
Warning: Do not pick up the server with the front handles. They are designed
to pull the system from a rack only.
