Usage guidelines
Use this command to clear history statistics if you want to collect traffic statistics for a specific time period.
If you do not specify an interface type, this command clears statistics for all interfaces.
If you specify only the interface type, this command clears statistics for all interfaces of that type.
If you specify both the interface type and the interface or subinterface number, this command clears
statistics for the specified interface or subinterface.
Examples
# Clear the statistics for GigabitEthernet 1/0/1.
<Sysname> reset counters interface gigabitethernet 1/0/1

In IRF mode:
reset ethernet statistics [ slot slot-number ]

Parameters
slot slot-number: Specifies an IRF member device by its member ID. If you do not specify a member device,
this command clears statistics for all IRF member devices.

# (In standalone mode.) Clear the Ethernet module statistics.

# (In IRF mode.) Clear the Ethernet module statistics for IRF member device 6.
<Sysname> reset ethernet statistics slot 6
