Usage guidelines
If you set the value argument multiple times, the most recent configuration takes effect.

# Allow jumbo frames to pass through GigabitEthernet 1/0/1.

mac-address

Use mac-address to assign a MAC address to an Ethernet interface.
Use undo mac-address to restore the default.
Syntax
mac-address mac-address
undo mac-address
Default
The MAC address of an Ethernet interface is the bridge MAC address of the device.

mtu

Use mtu to set the MTU for an Ethernet interface or subinterface.
Use undo mtu to restore the default.

mtu size
undo mtu
Default
The MTU of an Ethernet interface or subinterface is 1500 bytes.
