Mounting the locking counterpart

1 Make the recess and all holes for the locking counterpart (Fig. 6, page 93).
2 Clean the recess and all holes by blowing or vacuuming them clean.
3 Screw on the supplied locking counterpart (Fig. 7, page 94).
4 Make sure that the rebate gap is no less than 3 mm and no more than 8 mm.
5 Check the door to ensure it moves freely.
 The locking counterpart is mounted.

Check the electric swing bolt 842-SA1

1 Test all functions of the swing bolt.
 The electric swing bolt 842-SA1 is fully mounted and ready for use.

Installation on glass surfaces

Optionally, the electric motorized swing bolt 842-SA1 or the locking counterpart can be mounted in a
surface-mounted casing ("Accessories", page 36) and glued onto a glass door or glass surface.
Installation can take place both vertically and horizontally (locking at the bottom). With horizontal
installation, you should select a position as near as possible to the lock side on the door to ensure little
leverage is required.

Restricted movement if the gap to the vertical frame section is incorrect: If the gap to the vertical
frame section is too small, the door can no longer move freely and can no longer be fully opened.
