Impaired function due to incorrect door gap: The rebate gap must be suitably adjusted ("Setting the

rebate gap", page 32).

Working on the door frame: The electric strike must be removed if you need to carry out work close to

the swing bolt, such as drilling or cutting.

Material damage caused by opening: The swing bolt may not be opened, because it would be damaged

in the process. Opening the housing will void the warranty.

Material damage caused by painting: Do not coat the swing bolt, strike plate or locking counterpart with

paint or other substances.

Material damage caused by water and moisture: The swing bolt must be protected against penetrating

water. Water impairs the function of the swing bolt.

Comply with EMC Directive: The conductor cross-section must not be enlarged by installing individual

lines in parallel. Always use individual lines with a sufficiently large cross-section to ensure electromag-

netic compatibility.

The product is used to lock doors.

The product is suitable for

· horizontal or vertical installation

· Installation in the door frame

· Installation in or on metal, wood or glass door leaves.

tions and the device combinations required for your application. The usage must be coordinated with the

requirements of the building inspectorate. Please contact the responsible inspection authority for this

purpose.

· modifications of door elements.
