This mounting instruction is intended for installation of panic exit device Assa 1125 with
following ordering numbers: 810700, 810701, 810702, 815697, 815698 and 815699.
The safety features of this product are essential to its compliance with EN 1125.
No modification of any kind, other than those described in these instructions, are permitted.

In compliance with EN 1125 the Assa 1125 is intended for use on single doors with following

Assa 1125 must be installed together with Assas strike plate model 1887 with following
ordering numbers: 353355, 353356, 353357 and 353358.
Assa 1125 can be installed together with following outside modular profile accessories:
- Accessory set Assa 3325, ordering no 354565, including outside round cylinder cover and
handle.
- Accessory set Assa 3425, ordering no 354564, including outside round cylinder cover and
cover plate for handle position.

- Page 2 1. Install lock case Assa 1525 or 1526. The six-sided follower shall be turned against the panic device. The gap between door and frame shall be 1-3 mm to insure a proper function. Install the strike plate. NOTE! The latch must be in a centered line to the lower cut for the side screw in the strike plate (see picture) 2.
- Page 3 4. Use the circular tube tool and adjust the stop washer on the six-sided follower according to the table below. Put the adjusted six-sided follower into the lock case with the stop washer against the cylinder follower on the lock case. Two lengths of the six-sided follower are enclosed in the package to suit different door thickness.
- Page 4 7. Check the function from in- and outside cylinder: - Function of dead bolt through in- and outside cylinder. (only lock case mod 1525) - Retraction of latch and deadlocking through in- and outside cylinder. 8. Use the drill template to calculate position and drill holes for the rear mounting bracket.
- Page 5 12. Check following functions: - Opening by panic bar minimum five times. When lock case 1525 is used; dead bolt shall be in a locked position while testing. - Deadlocking of dead bolt (only for 1525) - Deadlocking of latch. If necessary, adjust the link arm like this: -No deadlocking/mechanism to hard: Turn the socket joint on the link arm clockwise.
- Page 6 16. Attach the rear cover and the panic bar to the rear bracket with two Allen screws. 17. Attach the outside accessory; handle or cover plate. When handle is used, se picture how spindle and spindle spring is to be installed. 18.

Maintenance and operating instruction for Panic exit device Assa 1125 Panic exit device Regular intervals of at least: One month Check all fastenings, screws etc and that the panic bar operates in good order. Open the door by pressing the panic bar. Ensure that the latch moves freely and get a god engagement in the strike plate when the door is closed.
