Required action
Measure voltage drop on the bolt
under load during locking.
The voltage should remain stable
under load.
Check for centring with the strike
plate or blockage.
Check that the door works and that
the side pressure is not too high.
Measure voltage at bolt. Require-
ment 11-26V.
Reduce the side pressure of the door
to enable the bolt to be unlocked via
spring power.
Check environmental conditions
Requirement -10 to 55°C.
Bolt is nearing the end of its service
life – replace bolt.
Fail-unlocked bolt goes into de-ener-
gised state – replace bolt.
