Mounting in the door frame

Note!
Optional adjustment option: If the motorized swing bolt 842-SA1 is installed in the door frame, the locking
counterpart position can be adjusted by 2 mm using the optional mounting brackets SET-LA-M5 (Fig. 3,
page 32).

Setting the rebate gap

The distance between the motorized swing bolt 842-SA1 and the opposite locking counterpart must be set
in the range between 3 mm and 8 mm. The bolt must be able to swing out completely and engage in the
locking counterpart.
1 Mount the supplied mounting brackets (Fig. 8, page 95) or the optional mounting brackets SET-LA-M5
(Fig. 3, page 32).
2 Make sure that the appropriate rebate gap is set.
 The rebate gap is correctly adjusted, the bolt is fully swung out and the door is locked.
