Install the new suction filter into the filter housing.
Note:
Ensure that the filter is fully seated.

Align the hose and hose fitting to the filter
housing at the top of the tank, and secure the
fitting and housing with the retainer that you
removed in step 2.
Changing the Pressure
Filter
Service Interval: Every 400 hours
1.
Move the machine to a level surface, shut off the
spray pump, shut off the engine, and remove
the key.
2.
Align a drain pan under the pressure filter
(Figure
105).

Rotate the drain plug counterclockwise and
remove it from the bowl of the pressure filter
(Figure
105).
Note:
Allow the bowl to drain completely.

Rotate the bowl counterclockwise and remove it
from its filter head

Remove the old pressure-filter element

Note:
Discard the old filter.
6.
Check the O-ring for the drain plug (located
inside the bowl) and the O-ring for the bowl
(located inside the filter head) for damage and
wear
(Figure
105).
Note:
Replace any damaged or worn O-rings
for the plug, bowl, or both.
7.
Install the new pressure-filter element into the
filter head
(Figure

Ensure that the filter element is firmly
seated into the filter head.
8.
Install the bowl onto the filter head and tighten
by hand
(Figure

Install the plug into the bowl and tighten by hand
