11. ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY

11.1. EMC WARNINGS

The device complies with EN 60601-1-2 standards on electromagnetic compatibility, but to ensure patient safety
we recommend prohibiting the presence of mobile phones and any portable and mobile RF communication
equipment in the area of use, as they may affect the functioning of the device.
The device is subject to special requirements regarding electromagnetic compatibility and must be installed and
set up in accordance with the EMC information provided in the EMC performance table.
The device must not be used on patients in proximity to or at the same time as other equipment.
The use of a power cord other than that provided may degrade the performance of the device in terms of its
EMC emissions or the immunity. Always use the power cord provided by the manufacturer.
Check the characteristics of the system before setting up the device. The device is suitable for use in all premises
other than domestic establishments and those directly connected to a public low-voltage power supply network
that supplies buildings used for domestic purposes.
