    1. Woltmann Water Meter Description 1.1. Basic Safety Recommendations Before installing or using this product, please read this instruction manual thoroughly. Only qualified personnel shall install and/or repair this product. If a fault appears, please contact your distributor. The water meters are constructed according to state-of-the-art technology and tested operationally reliable.

    WT-Series is also equipped with sealing, which is used to prevent physical damages of the water meter, so as not to facilitate the perpetration of fraud. The sealing is provided before every water meter is ready to be used and installed. This is used to guarantee that the metrological parameters will not be changed.

    1.4. Introduction of Woltmann Water Meter WT-Series is a Woltmann-type water meter designed for measuring bulk flows of cold potable water for revenue billing in commercial or industrial applications and distribution system monitoring. WT-Series is manufactured from the highest quality materials for maximum resistance to wear and corrosion.

Please confirm that the consumption is within the scope of following flow rate to ensure the lifespan of water meter.     2.5. Accuracy WT-Series is designed and manufactured in a way that its errors (of indication) do not exceed the maximum permissible errors (MPEs), which is based on accuracy class 2 water meters. Equipped with electronic devices, WT-Series is designed and manufactured in a way that significant faults do not occur when it is exposed to the disturbance specified in Performance tests and tests involving the electronic part of a water meter or its devices, according to OIML (R 49:2013).

    3.2. Intelligent Display Structure The electronic register has 6 function modes: Net Totalizer, Forward Totalizer, Reverse Totalizer, Flow Rate, Management functions and Recording Modes. Place a magnet on symbol of the electronic register, and then remove the magnet immediately when the magnet symbol appears, at this time, LCD will display 6 function modes in turn in accordance with Picture 6.

  • Page 23 (4)Overload Flow rate Ranking : It records flow rate values which are higher than the maximum admissible flow rate. It saves the highest 5 logs, and classify the logs from high to low in accordance with the averages of overload flow rate. Recorded data includes date, time, duration, average values and overload values.

    4. Installation 4.1. General Information  Warning: Installation instructions given below are to be observed in order to guarantee a perfect functioning and a safe operation of the water meter. Please read this guide prior to installing the water meter. The water meter is designed for use with potable water for commercial and industrial activities.
  • Page 25 B. General instruction  The meter must be installed by a trained and instructed worker. Thereby the recognized standards of good practice have to be respected (we refer to the instructions given in ISO 4064-5:2014).  After the manufacturing process all meters are disinfected. The meters must be stored in a dry, cool, dust and germs free environment.
