Air circulation
Ensure that the engine has free circulation of cooling air

through the protective grille in the hood.
To open the engine hood, turn the hood latch (1) upward. Raise
the hood to its fully open position, checking that the red safety
catch on the left gas spring is latched.

Check fluid levels
Coolant level – Check
The coolant holder is located inside the hood above cooler
package and is seen easiest from the right side of the machine.
The filler cap (2) can be accessed after opening the engine
hood.
Check the coolant level with the engine stopped and cold.
Check that level of the coolant is between the max. and min.
marks. (1).
Fill with a coolant mixture of 50% water and 50% antifreeze.

Engine oil level
The dipstick is located on the Right side of the machine and it
can be accessed from the opening in the fender.
Pull up the dipstick (1) and check that the oil level is between
the upper and lower marks.

If the engine's gas-springs are out of action and
the hood is put at its upper position – block the
hood so that it cannot fall.
When at working temperature, the coolant is hot
and pressurised
the vapour may cause injuries. Open the filler
cap carefully to release the pressure. Wear
protective goggles and protective gloves.
