CONFIGURING INPUTS

4.1.

INPUT MONITOR

The Input Monitor tab provides the user with an overview of the input status.
4.1.1. Input Monitor
Input State: This field displays the state of the current input (either input 1 or input 2). The field
will display either Active or Inactive,
Num Programs: This field indicates the number of programs present within the stream; this
value is read from the PSIP / PSI in the stream.
Input Bitrate: This field indicates the gross bitrate of the input in bits/s.
Network ID: This field indicates, in decimals, the Network ID. This value is read from the PSIP /
PSI in the stream.
Network Name: This field indicates the Network Name of the stream, if present. This value is
read from the PSIP / PSI in the stream.

4.1.2. Input Control

Input Stream Mode: Options available are ATSC, DVB and MPEG.
o It is important to select the standard to which the stream is being coded as this affects
the context of the alarms for ETSI TR 101 290 priority 3 and the handling of AC3 Audio.
