VLAN CONFIG
The VLAN Config tab is used to configure the data network settings. Here up to five individual Vlans
can be configured. For each of the fifty inputs the VLAN can be selected simply by knowing the vlan
number as referenced on this configuration page.

3.6.1. Data Port Configuration
The configuration sub-window refers to the physical data port of the 7880DEC-H264HD card. An IP
address must be provided for the network along with the subnet mask. This establishes a presence on
the data network. Depending upon your network configuration you may not have an address allocated
for this, in this case leave the IP address as 0.0.0.0.
3.6.2. VLAN Configuration 1 - 5
The vlan configuration requires, for each vlan, a valid unused IP address, the subnet mask and VLAN
ID. You may optionally add, in the VLAN name entry box, a familiar or reference VLAN name. Repeat
the configuration for as many VLANs as required up to the maximum of five.
