Use the following procedure to enter anumber into memory.

M a k e s u r e t h e h a n d s e t i s o n - h o o k .

Press IPRGMI. Be sure the PRGM annunciator comes on.

Press the memory dial key selected to the store number. Check the
contents of the selected memory dial key to prevent the accidental loss
o f a s t o r e d n u m b e r .

If the selected memory dial key contains an unwanted number, press
resetI ,then the memory dial key. The terminal erases the number in
that memory dial key location.

Enter all digits normally dialed to reach the other party. Be sure to
enter all required pauses. Press Ipause |to enter apause in the dialing
sequence. Press Ihookflash] to enter ahookflash into the dialing
sequence. These are indicated by aPand H, respectively, in the dis¬
played number.

Be sure the display shows the correct number when entered, including
all long distance access codes and pauses. To correct an entry, press
IPRGM Itwice, and repeat steps 3through 5.

Press the memory dial key. The terminal transfers the number on the
message display to that memory dial key location.

Continue programming memory dial keys by repeating steps 3
through 7.

With all desired memory dial key locations programmed, press
IPRGM I. The PRGM annunciator goes out and the terminal returns to
t h e i d l e m o d e .
