14. Install the optical drive in the universal media bay (callout 1), and then install the screw (callout 2).
15. Install the midwall bracket.
16. Install the fan cage.
17. Do one of the following:
Install the air baffle.
•
Installing the midplane drive cage.
•
18. Install the access panel.
19. Install the server into the rack.
20. Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
21. Connect the power cords:
a. Connect each power cord to the server.
b. Connect each power cord to the power source.
22. If installed, close the cable management arm.
