5.6 Menu Descriptions - Dual Harmonic Mode

5.6.01 Dual Harmonic Setup Menu

using the Output Equations menu (see section 5.3.08), as follows:-
EQUATION #1
+10000
0
-10000
EQUATION #2
When set to EQUATION #2 the corresponding DAC connector on the rear panel
of the main console outputs a voltage related to Equation 2, which is defined
using the Output Equations menu (see section 5.3.08), as follows:-
EQUATION #2
+10000
0
-10000
USER DAC1, USER DAC1, USER DAC1, and USER DAC4
When set to the USER DAC setting the corresponding DAC connector on the
rear panel of the main console outputs the voltage set by the corresponding
AUX DAC control, in the range 10.000 V.
DIG SIG MON1
When set to the DIG SIG MON1 setting the corresponding DAC connector on
the rear panel of the main console outputs a voltage representing the signal being
generated by the main signal channel ADC.
DIG SIG MON 2
When set to the DIG SIG MON2 setting the corresponding DAC connector on
the rear panel of the main console outputs a voltage representing the digital input
to the second demodulator.
EXT ADC1 MON
When set to the EXT ADC1 MON setting the corresponding DAC connector on
the rear panel of the main console outputs a voltage representing the voltage at
the rear-panel ADC1 input connector.
SYNC OSC
When set to the SYNC OSC setting the corresponding DAC connector on the
rear panel of the main console outputs a voltage representing the sinusoidal
waveform applied to the first in-phase demodulator. If the reference mode for
this demodulator is external, this allows generation of a sinusoidal signal phase
locked to it and with adjustable phase relationship to it.
Pressing the Previous Menu key returns control to Main Menu 2.
This completes the description of the dual reference mode menus.
The dual harmonic mode allows the model 7124 to simultaneously measure signals
applied to the signal input at two different harmonics of the reference frequency. The
reference may be either externally supplied or derived from the internal oscillator.
During dual harmonic mode operation, some of the control and display menus differ
from those used for single reference mode, so these are described in the following
