14-2 Lifting commanding gestures diagram

The personnel must be familiar with standard lifting operation command signal and gesture, which
should be kept consistent between members. The recommended standard gestures are as follows:

14-2-1 Universal gesture signal

1. "Preparation" (Note)
Keep arms straight, place above the head,
with fingers naturally separated and palms
forward remain intact.
3. "Ask for auxiliary hook"
Naturally fist with one hand, forearm fixed
upward, and the other hand stretches out, with
the palm touching the elbow of the first hand.
2. "Ask for main hook."
Naturally fist with one hand, place above the
head to touch the top of the head slightly.
4. "Hook up"
Forearm stretches laterally upward, with
fingers outstretched naturally, higher than the
shoulder, rotates around the wrist.
