7-3-5 Braking system

The brake system consists of the service
brake (foot brake), the parking brake (hand brake)
and auxiliary brake (engine exhaust brake and
engine retarder brake).
1. Service brake
The service brake, dual-circuit pneumatic
brake, is operated by pedal, with the maximum
working pressure of 0.8MPa. The first circuit acts
on the wheels of axle 1, and the second circuit
acts on the wheels of axle 2 and 3. Once the
air reservoir pressure of one of the two circuits
drops below 0.45MPa, the vehicle should be
immediately stopped in a safe place and find out
the reasons for the pressure reduction. Several
brakes performed continuously in a short time may
also cause the pressure to drop below 0.45MPa.
2. Parking brake
Parking brake, acting on axle 3 and 4 through
the spring two storage gas chamber on the axles,
is the deflation spring brake. After stopping, the
driver pulls the hand brake to stop state to keep
the vehicle stop in place. Only when the hand
brake switch is in the releasing state, the pressure
of brake system circuit 23 is greater than 0.45MPa
(low pressure alarm lamp is off). When the hand
brake indicator light goes out, the compressed gas
pushes the spring back into the original position,
the brake can be released. The hand brake can also
be used as emergency braking, when the vehicle
is traveling in danger and emergency braking is
required, if foot brake fails at this time, the hand
brake switch can stop the vehicle. When the
vehicle must be dragged but the vehicle service
