(A) Transformer
Reduces 120VAC to 24VAC.
• Top transformer - wired for operation of the high limit
switch, modulator actuator valve, and the ignition control
module.
• Bottom transformer - wired for operation of the
temperature controller.
(B) Relay
An electrical device using an electromagnet, which is
activated by a current, to open or close another circuit.
• Left relay-wired as a normally closed circuit to the red
high limit fault LED.
• Middle relay-wired as a normally open circuit to the red
fault LED.
• Right relay-wired as a normally closed circuit to the
minicontactor.
(C) Ignition Control Module
Sends and receives voltages to operate or verify
operation of components.
(D) Air Pressure Switches
Measures the air pressure within the combustion chamber.
The set pressure point will either open or close a circuit.

• Left air pressure switch-wired as a normally closed circuit
with the hose connection on the positive barb.
• Right air pressure switch-wired as a normally opened
circuit with the hose connection on the positive barb.
(E) Temperature Controller
A digital gas fired heating controller. The controller
modulates the outputs voltage of 2-10VDC to the modulating
actuator valve. In the event of a temperature
sensor failure, the controller will operate the modulating
actuator at half BTU output (5VDC).
The user defined parameters are as follows:
• "SP": The SP (setpoint) is the discharge air temperature
and it can be adjusted between 70-190°F (21.1-87.8°C).
The factory default SP is set at 130°F (54.5°C). When
adjusting the SP above the outside air temperature, it will
result in modulating the system discharge temperature
to that specified setpoint. The SP will NOT revert back
to the factory default when the heater is turned OFF and
back ON. The setpoint prior to the heater turning OFF will
remain as the discharge temperature SP when the heater
is turned back ON.
