Commander Ductable Make-Up Air Heater
• Modulating actuator valve regulates the gas flow based on
the 2-10VDC from the Temperature Controller temperature
setpoint.
NOTE:
The make-up heater will operate between minimum and
maximum BTU rate continuously. See Shut-down
Instructions in this manual for proper manual shut-down.
IGNITION FAILURE SEQUENCE:
• The ignition control module will perform 5 ignition
attempts.
• Each attempt for ignition takes approximately 10
seconds.
• If ignition module does not sense a flame within each
ignition trial.
• Gas solenoids closes.
• Ignition spark shuts off.
• The ignition control module will purge for 5 seconds before
another ignition trial.
o If ignition is not establish within the 5
ignition trials, the module goes into safety lockout.
o The red fault LED on the control panel will illuminate.
o See ignition control module LED for error
flash code.
• Fan motor stops.
• To retry for ignition, the system must be reset.
o To reset the ignition control module:
- Unplug the power supply to the heater and plug it back,
or
- Position the selector switch to OFF and
then back to the HEAT position.
