Care and Maintenance

Service
Regular servicing by a Sartorius technician will
extend the service life of your balance/scale and
ensure its continued weighing accuracy.
Sartorius can offer you service contracts, with your
choice of regular maintenance intervals ranging
from 1 month to 2 years.
Repairs
Repair work must be performed by trained service
technicians. Any attempt by untrained persons
to perform repairs may lead to hazards for the user.
Cleaning
!
Disconnect the balance/scale from the
AC adapter and unplug any data cables that
are connected to the balance/scale
!
Make sure that no liquids enter the
balance/scale housing
!
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents
(solvents or similar agents)
§ Clean the balance/scale using
a piece of cloth which has been wet with a mild
detergent (soap)
§ After cleaning, wipe down the balance/scale
with a soft, dry cloth
Remove the weighing pan and clean as follows:
§ Grasp the shield ring from below and lift the
weighing pan together with the pan support to
avoid damaging the weighing system
