Calibrate the balance/scale

Step
1. Turn on the balance/scale
2. To access the calibration switch:
open the cover plate located
below the balance/scale;
flip the switch
3. Tare the balance/scale
4. Begin calibration
Calibration weight is displayed
without weight unit (here: 1000 g)
5. Place the indicated calibration
weight on the balance/scale
After calibration, the calibration
weight is displayed with wt. unit
6. Remove the calibration weight
