You remove and replace a fan module from the rear panel of the chassis. The device continues to
operate for a limited period of time (4 minutes) during the replacement of the fan module without
thermal shutdown.

Airflow Through the Chassis
In the ACX6160 cooling system, cool air enters through the vents in the front panel and hot air exhausts
through the rear (FRU) panel. This type of airflow is known as
