Performing the tests
Sending a message
Once both units are paired via the fiber to be tested, each one can send a message to
the other.
This message can be sent to inform the far end technician about launching a test,
waiting before launching the test, cleaning the connectors...
To send a message to the distant unit:

Go to the Results page.

A list of pre-defined messages displays.

Select the message to send.
NOTE
If the message "Go to Fiber Nb" is selected, enter the fiber number and vali-
date.
The message displays automatically on the distant unit.
