Loading a configuration file FiberComplete
FiberComplete configuration file includes OTDR and FCOMP setup and file parameters.
To load a configuration file previously created and apply parameters to new tests:

If necessary, press Setup to return to Setup menu.

Press menu key

Select the configuration file in the wished directory.

You can modify some acquisition or file storage parameters, and save them in a new
configuration file (see
page
30).
NOTE
Some configuration files are available in the equipment: press File and
select disk > config > FCOMP.
Performing the tests
Once the Setup is configured on one unit, the units can be connected to the fiber to be
tested.
Automatic pairing / continuity check
As soon as the remote (B) unit is connected to the fiber, the local (A) unit detects it (and
vice-versa).
A green line links the two units and the length of the fiber is measured and
displayed as well.
One unit is disconnected from the fiber link, or there
is a break
