NOTE:
When system battery is disconnected or completely discharged, the system date and time will be reset. When
the system is power on under this condition, it will take slightly more time before the Dell logo is displayed, followed by
the Time-of-day not set message. Select BIOS-Setup in the caution screen to configure the date and time.
Installing the battery
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

NOTE:
If battery was disconnected from system board for service, there will be a delay during system boot-up as the
system will undergo RTC battery reset.
