REPLACING HYDRAULIC PUMP
Engine must be shut off.
Remove key & disconnect battery cable.
Make sure that hydraulic oil is cool and
that pressure is relieved from the lines.
Disconnect hydraulic lines from pump
and cap them, mark which line goes
where to reconnect correctly.
Remove bolts holding pump to engine.
Replace pump and tighten bolts.
Uncap and reconnect hydraulic lines
paying attention to how they were
marked.
Recheck oil supply in reservoir,
replenish if necessary.
HYDRAULIC HOSES & FITTINGS
Inspect hydraulic hoses and fittings daily
for leaks, tightness, wear, or damage.
Repair or replace as needed.
FLUID UNDER PRESSURE CAN
PENETRATE THE SKIN AND CAUSE
SEVERE INJURY. CHECK HOSES
AND FITTINGS USING A BOARD
OR CARDBOARD; DO NOT USE
HAND OR FINGER. SEEK
IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION
IF SKIN IS PENETRATED. ALWAYS
WEAR EYE PROTECTION.
