6 Maintenance
• A short-circuit protection must be installed at the power supply to avoid electric shock
and fire. The installation must follow the local rules and regulations.
• An authorized local sales and service representative must replace the glass fuse in the
control box. For more information, see
6.2.2 Cables
These requirements apply:
• The cables must be in good condition, not have any sharp bends, and not be pinched.
• The sheathing must not be damaged and must not have indentations or be embossed at
the cable entry.
• The minimum bending radius must not be below the accepted value.
• All cable entries must be sealed to maintain the IP rating of the unit.
• The cables must have the applicable temperature rating.
• The minimum temperature rating of the power supply cable must be 70°C (158°F).
6.3 Install the WLAN unit
The WLAN unit is installed in the control module.
1. Remove the WLAN unit.
a) Remove the holder.
b) Disconnect the power leads from the control module.
c) Remove the back cover of the control module.
