Power

Plug the power cord into a mains outlet of the proper voltage, frequency, and current capability,
see
Specifications and Environmental
panel label for the correct voltage and frequency. Bath power passes through a filter to prevent
switching spike transmission to other equipment.
Use the front panel POWER to turn on (I) the Bath. The Bath stirring motor turns on and heats or
cool to reach the previously-programmed temperature set-point. The front display indicates the
actual Bath temperature. Set the cooling switch to I (on) for below or near-ambient temperatures.
The actual temperature where cooling is required depends on the bath fluid and whether
there is a cover over the access well.
When powered on, the display briefly shows a four-digit number. This number indicates
the number of times power has been applied to the Bath. Data that indicates the
controller hardware configuration also briefly shows. This data is used in some
circumstances for diagnostic purposes.
For optimum accuracy and stability, allow the Bath adequate stabilization time after it
reaches the set-point temperature.

Bath Preparation and Filling

To avoid Product damage, do not spill fluid on the control panel. Immediately
clean up any spills. If necessary, cover the panel while you fill the Bath. Do not
overfill.

other sources. Depending on the desired temperature range, any of the fluids below, or others,
can be used:
