7.3-1 Daily Maintenance Tasks

Check hydraulic oil level (figure 7.7-3, p-82)

Check engine oil level
3
Check fuel level (gauge on instrument panel)
4
Check alternator / A/C belt tension / condition
5
Check track tension / condition
6
Check for proper control operation
7
Check for proper switch and lighting operation
8
Check / clean air cleaner elements
9
General visual check for cracks, damage, completeness
10
Check for leaks in hoses, tubes, valves, pumps, cylinders, etc.

Drain water separator
12
Lubricate all grease points
13
Inspect / clean the coolers and engine compartment
14
Inspect / clean undercarriages (as needed)
15
Inspect / clean chassis
16
Inspect/replace missing/damaged safety signs
7.3-2 50-1000 hour Tasks
Every 50 operating hours

Inspect drive sprocket rollers (replace as needed)
Every 250 operating hours
1
Replace engine oil & filter
2
Replace hydraulic filter(s)
3
Replace planetary oil (initial change only)
Every 500 operating hours
1
Replace fuel filter element
2
Replace planetary oil (normal change interval after initial change)
Every 1000 operating hours
1
Replace hydraulic oil
2
Replace engine coolant (use SCA additive, see engine manual)
