Apply Power and Turn On the PD1500A

Apply Power and Turn On the PD1500A

Connect the PD1500A to an appropriate AC power source (see Chapter 1 for
detailed information). At this time all lights in the Tower Light should be off.
Turn the Power knob to the ON position. The
other lights should be off.
Press the RESET button the front of the PD1500A rack. All Tower Lights should
turn on ON for approximately 10 seconds. Afterward, only the
remains on. The two white lights inside of the rack may be on. After a few
moments, the
Wait a few minutes while the oscilloscope turns on and installs all of its
applications. A single yellow trace appears when the oscilloscope is finished
installing its applications.
Press and hold the Door Open button to open the two front doors.-- you may need
to pull very hard to open the doors.
Remember, to open the doors on the PD1550A:

Red
Tower Light turns off and the
– Power must be supplied to the PD1550A system
– PD1550A system turned on
– Green Tower Light must be on - all other tower lights off
All doors, both front and rear of the test rack, must be closed and
locked before running any DPT test.
