Removing Paper Jams On The Platen Glass - Canon 1100 Reference Manual

When it is difficult to pull the original out
Lift up the feeder.
Open the cover along the right side by lifting it as shown in the illustration below, then
remove the jammed original.
Lower the feeder.

Follow the instructions on the touch panel display.

Removing Paper Jams on the Platen Glass

If a paper jam occurs on the platen glass, a screen similar to the one shown below appears on
the touch panel display. Check the location of the paper jam, and using the screen on the touch
panel display as a reference, follow the procedure described below to remove the jammed
original.
CAUTION
•
When removing jammed original, take care not to cut your hands on the edges of the original.

The screen that appears differs depending on the options attached.
