Editor-F1

Together with the edit pen, the editor is used for area designations, shift position designations,
and selecting colours from the colour palette.
IMPORTANT
The IP-ED board (option) must be installed to install the editor.

Parts and Their Functions

When placing the original on the editor, place it
with the side to be copied face up and align the
upper-right corner of the original with the
mark.
IMPORTANT
Do not use the editor near strong magnetic fields (cordless telephones etc.).
Do not push down hard on the area designation board.
Do not use the area designation board with conductors, such as metallic rulers, placed on it.
Do not pull hard on the cord of the edit pen.
When using the edit pen, avoid letting the cord come near to the tip of the edit pen.
Do not touch the tip of the edit pen. This may result in an incorrect entry.
Be careful not to let the connector of the editor come loose while the copier's power is turned on
because this may damage the copier.
