Select the function whose main settings screen you want displayed on the
Basic Features screen; then press [OK].

If you do not want to display the main settings screen for any of these functions on the Basic Features

Changing Settings for the Energy Saver Mode

Pressing
While in the Energy Saver mode, the temperature of the fixing unit is lowered, thus economizing
on electricity.
You can set the energy saving level to -10%, -25%, or -50%, or specify Return to Standard
Mode.

Increasing the energy saving level will economize more on electricity but lengthens the time the
copier takes to get ready for copying.

The default setting is "-10%".

Customising the Copier's Global Settings
(Energy Saver) on the control panel puts the copier into the Energy Saver mode.
