Make sure that the staple cartridge is firmly secured, then restore the stapler
unit to its original position.

Close the front cover of the stapler sorter.

When closing the cover, be careful not to get your fingers caught.
IMPORTANT

Make sure that the front cover of the stapler sorter is closed properly.

After replacing the staple cartridge, no staples may appear for the first eight stapling attempts. It is
recommended that you perform manual stapling after replacing the staple cartridge. Press
(Stapling Start/Stop) until your copies are stapled.
