Add a New RDP or VNC Instrument Connection
DLS supports two different remote desktop protocols to control the instrument remotely: RDP
(Remote Desktop Protocol) and VNC (Virtual Network Computing).

Click on Instruments Connection Settings to create a model and to assign the protocol to be
used for the model.
Click on + to add connection type for the desired model.
For example, in the image below, model N9000B has two connection types created for it:
N9000B_RDP and N9000B_VNC. As a Windows-based instrument, N9000B supports RDP
type remote access by default. However, it is possible to extend its functionality to support
VNC type remote access by installing a VNC client.
