Add a New Direct Access Instrument Connection

Direct Access instrument connection uses
five different default templates that can be used depending on the model of instrument.

Click on Instruments Connections to create new instrument connections. Select the model
of instrument to connect to and fill in the required parameters. All compulsory parameters
are indicated with a red border around the setting.
For Port settings, you have the following options:
i Manually specify an unused port
OR
ii Click on the bulb icon
Click Save Settings to save the connection.
