Test Plan Panel

The Test Plan panel contains the sequence of test steps in the test plan, and re made up of the
following elements:

Command Description
Removes one or more selected steps from the test plan. To add steps to your test panel,

Opens and closes test plan resources:
− When gray, test plan resources are closed (disconnected) and their settings can be

− When blue, test plan resources are open (connected). Settings are locked and cannot
be changed. Click to close the resources and unlock their settings.
Run Executes the test plan (keyboard shortcut is F5).
Runs the first enabled step (indicated by a blue check mark), then suspends execution.
When clicked again, the next enabled step runs, and execution suspends.
If a test plan is running, the button suspends execution as soon as possible. Once
Run Single
suspended, you can click:
Step
− Run to continue running the remainder of the test plan.
− Run Single Step to run the next enabled step.
Stop Stops the test plan.
