Using a digital multimeter set to the OHM or Continuity setting, verify the
following:

OFF
RUN
START
1. Connect the battery by installing the positive cable first, then the negative
cable to the battery.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable first, then the positive
cable from the battery.

4. Compress the 2 tabs on the side of the switch and remove the hourmeter.

With the ignition switch in the RUN position and the PTO switch closed (ON),
verify battery voltage and ground to the hourmeter.
