5. Raise the deck off of the supporting blocks and secure the height using the
height-of-cut pin.

7. Connect the battery by installing the positive cable first, then the negative
cable to the battery.
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PTO. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key. Engage the
parking brake.

cable from the battery.

deck lift shaft assembly.
5. Using a 1/2 inch wrench, remove the 4 (5/16 inch) nuts and carriage bolts (2
on each side) securing the front deck lift shaft assembly.
