LH & RH Motion Control Assembly Replacement
LH & RH Motion Control Assembly Removal
Drive: Service and Repairs
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PTO. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key. Engage the
parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable first, then the positive
cable from the battery.
3. Remove the LH & RH pods. Refer to

4. Using a T40 torx driver, remove the 4 (5/16 inch) bolts, securing the LH &
RH pod tubes to the chassis.
5. Using a T40 torx driver, remove the 4 (5/16 inch) bolts, securing the LH & RH
mounting brackets to the chassis.
Note: For the LH side: Remove the pin, securing the parking brake linkage
to the handle. Disconnect the parking brake linkage from the parking brake
handle.
6. Disconnect the wire harness from the LH & RH neutral safety switches.
Remove the neutral safety switches.

7. Using a 1/2 inch socket, remove the (5/16 inch) lock nut and shoulder bolt
securing the LH & RH motion control linkages to the transaxle assembly.
